Get ready for TWO epic bootcamps, happening at the same time on Friday afternoon:

Afro Master Bootcamp with the amazing Yeni Molinet.
Rueda de Casino Bootcamp with the dynamic duo Mr. Morsy & Isabella

Prerequisites (skills you need to have) before joining the Rueda bootcamp:

• Rhythm – Staying on time with the music without counting out loud, especially with medium-paced songs (up to 95 BPM).

• Rueda Basics – Solid knowledge of all Rueda basic figures (e.g., Enchufla, Prima, Vacílala, Sácala/Exhíbela, Sombrero, Dile Que Sí, Dile Que No, Directo, Dame 2 con 2, Pa’ Arriba) and the ability to execute them with good technique in a controlled manner.

• Flexibility – Ability to react quickly to modifiers (e.g., Mentira) and to change partners in different directions smoothly and promptly.

• Spatial Awareness & Orientation – Ability to recognize your own position within the Rueda (or any other dance structure) and adjust it as needed while dancing.

   If participants don’t have sufficient Rueda de Casino knowledge, they will be moved out of the class. They may still join the Afro Bootcamp, provided there is space available.
